DSDC News

Due to the generous backing of supporters the DSDC is able to develop and deliver high quality dementia care training across many care environments.

One of those key supporters is The Royal Arch Freemasonry who have been a long standing loyal supporter and friend of the centre. In 2016 the centre was presented with a generous donation for which we are very grateful. In addition, we were extremely please to be told that DSDC has been nominated as their main charitable cause for 2017.

Below Mr Bill Annand of The Royal Arch Freemasonry talks about the relationship with the centre and their choice of DSDC for their 2017 appeal.


Our association with DSDC started in 1994 when our then First Grand Principal, the Earl of Elgin and Kincardine, after outlining how dementia was growing and affecting society in general, encouraged us to donate £25,000 towards the cost of building the Iris Murdoch Building.
