September saw me taking on two challenges, Pretty Muddy and the Glasgow Half-Marathon.  

For Challenge 12 it saw my mum, sister and I crawling through mud in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow for Pretty Muddy. Over a 5k distance there was a number of different obstacles including climbing under and over things, having space hopper races, dodging swinging things and rolling down hills. The finale saw us climb up a giant slide, then down the other end into a pool of mud. You can see from the pictures we were disgusting by the end of it, but we had a great laugh taking part!

After Pretty Muddy I was hitting the training hard for Challenge 13 – the Great Scottish Run, Half Marathon. This challenge has been the one I’ve been pushing to the back of my mind as it is the one that has terrified me the most. I have never run any further than 10k before, so...
