As of 31st March, Professor June Andrews stepped down from her role as Director of DSDC. She will be doing more strategic work, retaining her link with the University as Professor Emeritus.
Professor Alison Bowes, Head of School of Social Sciences, would like to take this opportunity to commend June’s outstanding contribution to the University and to the well-being of people with dementia and their carers: she has done magnificent work which has made a real difference.
The University Court has awarded June the title of Professor Emeritus in recognition of her work, and on behalf of the School and the DSDC team, we all congratulate her on this well-deserved honour. We would also like to convey our best wishes for the future.
