From aspiring managers to senior managers, you will soon be able to take advantage of our new range of Leadership & Management in Dementia care courses. The new course range is tiered for manager grades and experiences, with specific courses accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), or designed to meet the requirements of professional bodies such as the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Each course will provide participants with the skills to achieve service excellence by being a highly effective and efficient manager. At the heart of the programme is person centred care and understanding why this approach is so important to people with dementia and their families.
All delegates who successfully complete a course will receive a certificate relevant to the level of course completed. The tiered nature of the courses also allows managers to continue their professional development by providing a stepping stone to other programmes and indeed University courses.
The ILM accredited certificate is the equivalent SCQF level 7 (Scotland) and level 4 in England and Wales. This course is therefore ideal for anyone interested in progressing their professional and personal development to degree level.
All the courses can be tailored to meet your organisation’s requirements and can be run from your place of work. Many organisations choose this option as it can work out as more cost effective.
