In the penultimate month of 2017 I attempted challenges 15 and 16.

At the beginning of the month I headed out to Falkirk to The Kelpies to take part in the Supernova Run. It was absolutely freezing, but I managed to run my quickest 5k of the year so obviously the cold helped! The views were stunning seeing The Kelpies all lit up at night and everyone running with their head torches and glow sticks on.

For the second last challenge, number 16, I decided to walk 17,000 steps a day for a week. I planned this for the end of November, which marked the year since we lost my gran. It was quite an emotional week for us all, but I had some friends and family join in the challenge and we all competed against each other to get our steps up. I’ll admit there were a few late nights pacing round the flat to get those last few steps in, but 120,000 steps later I managed it...
