Programme summary

Are you supporting a person with dementia who has continence problems? There are simple and practical care measures which will help you sensitively support a person with dementia and help maintain the person’s dignity and self-esteem.

From understanding your role in supporting people with dementia experiencing continence issues, understanding the various reasons for continence occurring and learning about continence aids to the importance of the environment, this learning programme will provide you with the basic knowledge and understanding necessary in order to positively support people with continence issues.
