Research demonstrates that housing staff have a vital role to play in enabling people with dementia living at home to live well within their communities. Participants will have the opportunity to explore key factors which ensure people with dementia live well within the community; including communication, and in particular the application of risk enablement principles in day to day support.

- Housing care and support staff working with people with dementia who have a clear knowledge of dementia or who have attended the Housing Care and Support for People with Dementia: 2 day Awareness Level Learning Programme
For staff with a good knowledge of dementia care and/or who have previously attended the Housing Care and Support for People with Dementia: 2 day Awareness Level Learning Programme’.
This learning programme can also be offered at a location of your choice.
