Younger people with dementia

Programme summary

Dementia affects over 17,000 people in Britain under the age of 65. Although each person’s journey with dementia is individual, younger people may be more likely to be working at the time of receiving a diagnosis; have dependent children; have financial commitments; be physically fit and very aware of the impact of living with dementia.

Participants will have the opportunity to consider the impact of diagnosis and discuss ways in which younger people with dementia can be supported to live well.
