DSDC believes housing will play an increasingly important role in improving the world for people with dementia.
That is why DSDC has gathered together a specialist team dedicated to helping commissioners and providers tackle the complex and practical issues which they are wrestling with now.
Practical changes to improve lives
Over the years DSDC has worked with housing and housing-related services and carers on practical changes which improve people's lives - design, adaptive technologies, training, quality and standards of practice and audit.
One strand of work includes testing tools which will help housing commissioners and providers get to grips with standards, practice and compliance issues with the DSDC housing audit package and the Maturity Matrix.
