Last month DSDC delivered design training for Tokyu Land Corporation & Mediva Inc., in Japan. The design training followed DSDC input into two projects developed by the Japanese organisations.  

DSDC’s team of architects and interior designers initially provided design advice to Tokyu Land Corporation, Medical Corporation Platanus and their partner Mediva Inc. on the design of the Setagaya Project; 75-bed nursing home and multi-purpose day care centre, which opened in 2017. The Setagaya Project was the first building outside of Europe to be awarded an international gold accreditation for excellence in dementia design by DSDC.

Following the success of the first project, DSDC has worked with Tokyu Land Corporation and Mediva Inc. on their second senior living development project in Tokaichiba, Yokohama. The project consists of...
