Dementia Centred

Over the last 12 years the Best Practice programme has undergone many changes, tweaks and improvements.  Because we have heard from many of you who are keen to have a better understanding of those changes, the Best Practice team at the DSDC have put together a Recertification course. This one day course will provide you with an update on all recent changes to the course, as well as provide you with an updated training pack and facilitators guide.

If you have done the course in the past but it has been awhile since you facilitated a group, you will find this day very helpful in getting you restarted in developing the knowledge and skills in your workplace. If you have already used the new materials and feel confident in your ability to facilitate, then you are not obligated to attend a recertification course. Moving forward, all newly trained Best Practice facilitators will be required to do a refresher course every five years to maintain their active status.
