Online MSc in Dementia Studies

The University of Stirling is the longest running provider of online postgraduate qualifications in dementia care. With the number of people living with dementia across the world expected to double in the next 20 years, our innovative online course has been developed to provide an in-depth, research-based knowledge of dementia and approaches to dementia care.

Designed for professionals already working in the field, and carers/volunteers who are supporting people with dementia, our online course can be studied from anywhere in the world. You can now submit your application for the online MSc in Dementia Studies to start in October 2020. 

The course is run by a team of academic experts whose research has helped to shape dementia care policy worldwide. The team work alongside an advisory group of people with dementia. The programme aims to develop leaders in dementia care and our students. Alumni include professionals from across health and social care disciplines as well as the arts and architecture, and from countries around the world.  You can study part-time from anywhere and fit coursework around your professional and personal life.
