Are you interested in taking part in research on improving the design of housing?

Participants in this research will use virtual reality (VR) to view and experience photorealistic 3d models of UK housing designs. They will be asked to critique each design based on a set of quality criteria which will be determined with the participants, aimed at identifying how to make UK housing design age friendly.

Who can take part?

We are looking to recruit people of 50 years or older, including those with memory loss.

Timeframe for recruitment

This study is looking to recruit participants from November to December 2020, for a small number of research activities occurring between November 2020 and March 2021

Expenses/Payments

There will be no payment for taking part in this project. Participants will not be expected to incur any expenses as this research will take place in your own home.

Who is doing the research?

This research is funded by Cherish-DE, the Digital Economy Research Centre, at Swansea University, and is being undertaken by researchers based at the Dementia Services Development Centre at the University of Stirling.
