The work of DSDC has been featured in a special issue of The Times published this week.
Focusing on the way DSDC has worked with and supports carers the special issue features Fiona Philips holding one of the yellow 10 Helpful Hints which have been used in training and support for carers and health professionals across the world.
“I am delighted that our work has been highlighted like this,” says Shirley Law, DSDC’s Director of Learning and Development. “Our great work with carers, not least thanks to funding from The Big Lottery, sometimes gets overlooked because of the international reputation we have developed in other areas, so national profile like this is excellent in showcasing what may be a hidden side to what we do and the positive impact it has,” she adds.
