Recognising End of Life in People with Dementia

Programme summary

An interactive training day to increase knowledge and understanding of recognising end of life in dementia.  

Participation in this course will:

  • Increase understanding of dementia; its prevalence and implications for care
  • Develop greater understanding of stress and distressed behaviour and how it relates to the signs and symptoms of end of life.
  • Help identify the signs and symptoms of end stage dementia. 
  • Promote symptom management and anticipatory prescribing in end stage dementia.
