Dementia Services Development Centre is an internationally recognised centre with the mission to improve lives for people living with dementia.

Based at the University of Stirling, DSDC uses research to inform practice, and practice to inform research providing comprehensive resources for anyone supporting someone living with dementia, both personally and professionally.

Training & events

 

A range of online and face to face training and events are delivered by DSDC, designed to instill confidence through the provision of knowledge and skills that can make a real difference to people living with dementia. Professionally, training can improve practice, environmental design and enhance careers.

DSDC is a member of the University’s Centre for Environment, Dementia and Ageing Research group (CEDAR). CEDAR have a strong emphasis on the inclusion of people living with dementia in their research practices.
